Former French Europe Minister and former Polish Foreign Minister to give evidence on impact of Russian invasion of Ukraine on UK-EU relations

The House of Lords European Affairs Committee, chaired by Lord Ricketts, will continue taking evidence into the implications for UK-EU relations of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Tuesday 19 September.
At 4:30pm the Committee will hear from:
- Radek Sikorsk MEP, former Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defence
- Nathalie Loiseau MEP, former French Minister of European Affairs and Co-Chair, UK-EU Parliamentary Partnership Assembly
The evidence session will be available to watch live or on demand on Parliamentlive.tv or in person in Committee Room 3, Palace of Westminster.
Questions will focus on the following themes:
- The EU’s overall foreign and security policy response.
- UK-EU cooperation on sanctions, including enforcement and effectiveness.
- The EU’s developing defence policy and approach to resilience.
- Future reconstruction of Ukraine.
- The EU’s wider positioning on foreign policy and future priorities, in particular the prospect of future enlargement.
