Lords to hear from businesses on how the implementation of the Windsor Framework is going so far

At 3:15pm on Wednesday 13 September, the House of Lords Protocol on Ireland/Northern Ireland Committee will hold a follow-up evidence session with business representatives to hear how business preparations for the operation of the Windsor Framework is going so far, in the context of the Government guidance published on 9 June and subsequent guidance published on 28 July. 

The Committee will hear from: 

3:15pm

  • Stuart Anderson, Head of Public Affairs at Northern Ireland Chamber of Commerce and Industry,   
  • Alexander Kinnear, Parliamentary Officer at Ulster Farmers' Union  
  • Mark Tait, Director at Target Transport.

4.30pm 

  • Michelle Riddalls, Chief Executive, PAGB, the consumer healthcare association 
  • Andrew Opie, Director of Food and Sustainability, British Retail Consortium 
  • Peter Hardwick, Trade Policy Advisor, British Meat Processors Association.
