Is there a future for UK-EU cooperation on international development post-Brexit?

On Thursday 1 November 2018 the House of Lords EU External Affairs Sub-Committee will be holding a roundtable discussion on international development cooperation after Brexit.

The roundtable will explore three themes:

  • Why should the UK and the EU cooperate after Brexit?
  • How could the UK and the EU cooperate and what could this look like?
  • What would happen in the case of no deal?

Simon Maxwell, former Director of the Overseas Development Institute, and Claire Godfrey, Head of Policy and Campaigns, BOND, will be among the experts participating in this roundtable.

The roundtable, which is open to the public, will begin at 10.30am on Thursday 1 November 2018 in Committee Room 1 of the House of Lords.
