Lords to debate report on access to justice for families and business post Brexit
On Wednesday 20 December the House of Lords will debate the EU Justice Sub-Committee's report, Brexit: justice for families, individuals and businesses, which was published in March.
Among those listed to speak are Lord Cromwell, Lord Judd, Earl of Kinnoull and Baroness Ludford.
The debate is being moved by Baroness Kennedy of The Shaws, Chair of the EU Justice Sub-Committee, and Lord Keen of Elie will respond on behalf of the Government.
The debate will take place after 3.30pm on Wednesday 20 December.
The report Brexit: justice for families, individuals and businesses called on the Government to secure adequate alternative arrangements for the mutual recognition of judgments in the other 27 EU member states, as part of a withdrawal agreement or a transitional deal.
