Lords to ask BEIS Minister: can the UK stay in the internal energy market after Brexit?


The House of Lords EU Energy and Environment Sub-Committee will continue its inquiry into Brexit and Energy Security on Wednesday 25 October. The Committee will question Richard Harrington MP, Minister for Energy and Industry, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

The Committee will question the Minister on the Government's vision for the UK's future energy relationship with the EU, including future participation in the Internal Energy Market and post-Brexit arrangements for the energy market on the island of Ireland.

Richard Harrington MP will give evidence at 10:30am in Committee room 2 of the House of Lords.

  • The impact of Brexit on consumers' energy costs
