Brexit: competition - Lords Committee to hear evidence from CMA, Ofcom, Ofgem and Civil Aviation Authority
The House of Lords EU Internal Market Sub-Committee will hear evidence from representatives from the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA), Ofcom, Ofgem and the Civil Aviation Authority on Thursday 14 September as part of its inquiry into UK competition policy post-Brexit.
The session will start at 10:10am on Thursday 14 September in Committee Room 3 of the House of Lords. Giving evidence to the Committee will be:

Areas the Committee will question the witnesses on include:
- What competition issues should be a priority for Brexit negotiations
- What opportunities Brexit presents for the UK to review national interest criteria for mergers and acquisitions
- How EU state aid policy has influenced both competition and investment in each sector
- Whether the UK should take a different approach to granting state aid if, after Brexit, it has the discretion to do so
