Statement from Mr Speaker and the Lord Speaker

Mr Speaker and the Lord Speaker have made a statement following the incident in Westminster on the morning of 14 August.
“This morning, an incident occurred outside Parliament. We would like to offer our thoughts and sympathies to those who were injured or affected by the incident. Our heartfelt thanks go to the emergency services who responded so quickly and to those who work every day to keep all of us who work in Parliament safe.”
