This week in the Commons, MPs spent three days debating the 'meaningful vote' which is anticipated on Tuesday 11 December. Their was also a statement on the 2018 G20 Summit, and the second reading of the Crime Bill.

Crime (Overseas Production Orders) Bill
This Bill passed its second reading without a division and has now been committed to a Public Bill Committee. The Committee is expected to conclude on Tuesday 18 December 2018.

'Meaningful Vote' debates
This week MPs began the debates preceding the 'meaningful vote' on the withdrawal agreement and future framework negotiated by the Government. On Tuesday 4 December MPs debated the Business Motion and passed it, before conducting day two of the debate on Wednesday 5 December, and day three on Thursday 6 December.
Urgent questions and ministerial statements
This week in the Commons their were two ministerial statements and no urgent questions.
Prime Minister's Questions
On Wednesday 5 December MPs asked the Prime Minister questions on the withdrawal agreement, Brexit legal advice, poverty in the UK and more.
