This bill aims to enable UK consumers to benefit from improvements in transport technology by creating:
- a new liability scheme for insurers in relation to automated vehicles
- regulations relating to the installation and operation of charging points for electric vehicles
- a regulatory framework for new technology to be invented, designed, made and used in the UK
