Rachel Reeves, chair of the Home Affairs Committee, asked an Urgent Question on the Immigration White Paper in the House of Commons.

The question was responded to by the Minister for Immigration, Caroline Nokes. She told the House the Government's first priority in Brexit negotiations is to reach a deal on citizens’ rights, on the position of the 3 million EU citizens currently in the UK and on the position of the 1 million UK citizens who reside in other EU member states.
