Urgent Question on the board of the Office for Students
27 February 2018 (updated on 27 February 2018)
Shadow Secretary of State for Education, Angela Rayner, asked an Urgent Question in the House of Commons on the appointment of the board of the Office for Students.
The question was responded to by the Minister for Universities, Science, Research and Innovation, Mr Sam Gyimah, who states the report recognises the good intentions of Ministers and officials, and that the advisory panel did judge candidates on a fair and impartial basis. He did however note the reports findings and claimed he will carefully and seriously consider recommendations.
