Reigate MP Crispin Blunt asked an Urgent Question on the case of Alfie Dingley, today in the House of Commons.

Alfie Dingley is a six-year-old from Kenilworth, whose parents and doctors are seeking access to medical cannabis to treat his epilepsy.

In his response to the Urgent Question, Home Office Minister Nick Hurd said, "it is a natural desire for parents to do everything they can to make sure that their children do not suffer unnecessarily, but we also need to make sure that cannabis is subjected to the same regulatory framework that applies to all medicines in the UK".
