Asset Freezing (Compensation) Bill: Lords third reading

The Asset Freezing (Compensation) Bill had its third reading, a chance to 'tidy up' the bill and make changes, in the Lords on Wednesday 7 February.

- What is third reading?
A bill to impose restrictions on assets owned by persons involved in conduct that gives support and assistance to terrorist organisations in the UK for the purpose of securing compensation for citizens of the UK affected by such conduct.
No changes were made to the bill at third reading. The bill will now go to the House of Commons for its consideration.
