Cabinet Office Minister David Lidington faced MPs' questions in the House of Commons at 12 noon on Wednesday 31 January 2018. He was standing in for Theresa May, who was in China.

Shadow Foreign Secretary Emily Thornberry, who stood in for the Leader of the Opposition, asked questions about female representation in Parliament and lowering the vote age to 16 

Ian Blackford, leader of the SNP in Westminster, asked about leaving the single market and the Government's record.
