On Tuesday 23 January, Glenrothes MP Peter Grant asked the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to make a statement on the recent ruling by the High Court over the judicial review on the application of personal independence payments to people with mental health problems.

Work and Pensions Secretary, Esther McVey, told the House that, "after careful consideration, I took the decision not to appeal the High Court’s judgment on this case".
