Urgent Question on proposed reductions in military forces

The Chair of the Defence Committee, Dr Julian Lewis, asked an Urgent Question in the House of Commons on proposed reductions in military forces in the National Security Capability review.
Dr Julian Lewis began by asking the Government for an explanation of the reasons for undertaking the review and the financial constraints under which it is being conducted. The Secretary of State for Defence Gavin Williamson responded to the question, stressing that he did not wish to pre-empt the conclusions of the National Security Capability review.
