Urgent Question on recent Taliban and ISIS attacks in Afghanistan

Stephen Doughty, the MP for Cardiff South and Penarth, asked an Urgent Question in the House of Commons on Monday 29 January on the recent Taliban and ISIS attacks on civilians in Afghanistan.

In responding, the Minister for Asia and the Pacific, Mark Field, told the House that "a political solution to the conflict is the only way to achieve lasting stability in Afghanistan and the wider region".
