MPs debated the Government's handling of negotiations to leave the EU, today in the House of Commons. The subject for this debate was chosen by the Liberal Democrat Party.

The debate was opened by Leader of the Liberal Democrats, Sir Vince Cable. The Parliamentary Secretary for the Cabinet Office, Chloe Smith, responded on behalf of the Government.
MPs voted 299 to 13 (Division 205) against the Liberal Democrat opposition motion on the Government's handling of leaving the EU negotiations.
