Urgent question on detainee mistreatment and rendition: 2 July 2018

Kenneth Clarke, MP for Rushcliffe, asked an urgent question in the House of Commons on detainee mistreatment and rendition.
The question was responded to by the Minister for Europe and the Americas, Sir Alan Duncan, who reassured the House "that the Government do not participate in, solicit, encourage or condone the use of torture for any purpose"
Kenneth Clarke followed up by asking the Government "why the Intelligence and Security Committee was stopped from completing the report, when it had already uncovered the unacceptable situation of a large number of cases of British complicity in torture, mistreatment and hijacking of people to Guantanamo Bay and to Libya?"
