Lords debates government approach to illegal immigration

Members of the Lords, including the former vice-chair of the Refugee Council and the former chair of the Commission on the Future of Multi-Ethnic Britain, debated the impact of the government’s 'hostile environment' approach towards illegal immigration on those with residency and employment rights, in the House of Lords on Thursday 14 June.
