Prime Minister, Theresa May, made a statement on the recent G7 summit that took place in Charlevoix, Quebec.

The Prime Minister claimed that "it is clear that in many of our countries some people feel left behind by globalisation, and not all countries are playing by the rules. We must address that. We need to make the international rules-based trading system work better, so that the benefits of free trade can be felt by all."

The statement was responded to by the Leader of the Opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, who stated that "the G7 meeting can only be described as a failure, and the blame for that lies with the current incumbent of the White House."
