Shadow Health Secretary, Jonathan Ashworth, asked an urgent question in the House of Commons on the Government's childhood obesity strategy.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Steve Brine, responded on behalf of the Government and confirmed the Government had published the second chapter of the childhood obesity plan, which sets national ambition to halve childhood obesity and significantly reduce the gap in obesity between children from the most and least deprived areas by 2030.
