19 June 2018
Alison Thewliss, SNP MP for Glasgow central, asked an urgent question in the House of Commons on Tuesday 19 June 2018, on the Government's response to the fire at the Glasgow School of Art.
The Secretary of State for Scotland, David Mundell, responded on behalf of the Government. The Secretary of State informed the House that the fire service will conduct a comprehensive and professional probe in due course. The UK Government previously gave £10 million to rebuild the school following a previous fire, and stands by ready to help again.
