Labour MP Keith Vaz asked an urgent question on Yemen in the House of Commons on June 11 2018.

The question was responded to by Alistair Burt, who stated that "the Government are and have been concerned about the potential impact of any assault on the city and port of Hodeidah for some time and have made their concerns clear to the Saudi and Emirati Governments."

Keith Vaz asked the Prime Minister if she will "speak to Mohammed Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia and Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of the United Arab Emirates, and tell them that they must immediately stop the military preparations for the offensive?"
