Lords considers Unpaid Work Experience (Prohibition) Bill

The Unpaid Work Experience (Prohibition) Bill had its third reading, a chance to 'tidy up' the bill and make changes, in the Lords on Thursday 26 April.

This bill would prohibit unpaid work experience exceeding four weeks.
No changes were made to the bill ahead at third reading. The bill will go to the House of Commons for its consideration.
Lords committee stage: Tuesday 13 February
As no changes were suggested to the bill, a motion was agreed to that both committee and report stages be dispensed with and that the bill progress directly to third reading. This procedure is known as ‘order of commitment discharged’.
