Prime Minister Theresa May made a statement in the House of Commons, updating Members on the Salisbury incident.

The Prime Minister commented on the investigation so far and claimed that the poison used in the incident was a military-grade nerve agent of a type developed by Russia. The PM also informed the House that the Foreign Secretary, Boris Johnson, has summoned the Russian ambassador to account for how this Russian-produced nerve agent could have been deployed in Salisbury and that the Russian Government must respond by the end of Wednesday 13 March 2018.
