8 March 2018 (updated on 8 March 2018)
Barbara Keeley, Shadow Minister for Mental Health and Social Care, asked an Urgent Question in the House of Commons on the CQC review of children and young people’s mental health services.
Keeley said that the "report is the latest piece of recent evidence revealing systematic failures in our mental health services".
In response, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Health Steve Brine told the House, "we are the first Government to introduce waiting time standards, and that is relevant to children and young people’s mental health, too".
