SNP MP Dr Lisa Cameron asked an urgent question in the House of Commons today on Marks and Spencer branch closures.

The question was responded to by the Minister for Energy and Clean Growth, Claire Perry, who stated that the Government are working together on the requirements to make sure that productivity and economic growth in this sector can continue for many years to come.

Dr Lisa Cameron asked the Minister if there was "any assessment of the impact of the proposed closures on local economies in Scotland and across the UK?"
