Lords debates plastic threat to the environment

Members of the Lords, including a fellow of the Royal Agricultural Society of England and an officer of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Sustainable Resource, debated the threat of plastic to the environment and the case for improved recycling, in the Lords on Wednesday 19 December.

This was a general debate. During debates, members are able to put their experience to good use, discussing current issues and drawing the government's attention to concerns.
The debate was proposed by Baroness Neville-Rolfe (Conservative), former member of the Corporate Leaders Group on Climate Change.
