This week in the Commons, MPs debated the remaining stages of the Offensive Weapons Bill, relations between Russia and the Ukraine and took part in a debate on education standards. The Prime Minister also made a statement on leaving the EU.

Legislation

Courts and Tribunals (Judiciary and Functions of Staff) Bill

This Bill passed its second reading without a division and has now been committed to a Public Bill Committee. The Committee is expected to conclude on Thursday 6 December 2018.

Offensive Weapons Bill

The remaining stages of this Bill were debated on Wednesday 28 November 2018. It passed third reading without a division.

Urgent questions and ministerial statements

This week three MPs asked urgent questions to ministers.
