Urgent question on death penalty policy for foreign fighters
11 October 2018
Chris Bryant, MP for Rhondda and a former minister in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, asked an urgent question on the Government's policy on the death penalty in relation to foreign fighters.
This follows reports that the UK Government dropped its objections to the use of the death penalty in the case of two British ISIS fighters.
During the question, Mr Bryant accused the Government of changing the policy "secretly, without telling this House."
