Cabinet Office Minister David Lidington faced MPs' questions in the House of Commons at 12 noon on Wednesday 6 February 2019. He was standing in for Theresa May, who is attending talks in Stormont.

The Shadow Foreign Secretary, Emily Thornberry, who was standing in for the Leader of the Opposition, Jeremy Corbyn, asked about the 'meaningful vote', legally binding changes to the EU Withdrawal Agreement, a temporary extension of Article 50, the backstop and a customs union.

The Scottish National Party's Westminster Leader, Ian Blackford, asked about pension cuts and pensioner poverty in Scotland.
