This week in the Commons, MPs debated several draft affirmative Statutory Instruments, many of which related to Brexit.

Two Private Members Bills were introduced to the House following Ten Minute Rule Motions this week:

General debates

Serious violence

The Home Secretary opened a general debate on serious violence on Monday 18 February. MPs discussed how to address and reduce crime, with many contributions focusing on knife crime.

NHS Ten Year Plan

On Tuesday, MPs took part in a general debate on the NHS's new Ten Year Plan.

Antisemitism in modern society

On Wednesday 20 February, MPs held a general debate on antisemitism in modern society in the House of Commons. Members from across the House shared personal stories of encountering antisemitism, and called on their colleagues to continue to end systematic discrimination.

Future Free Trade Agreements

MPs participated in a general debate on future Free Trade Agreements on Thursday 21 February 2019. Members spoke on the opportunities and challenges presented by the UK's exit from the EU.
