Lords debates Apollo Moon Landing

On Monday 15 July, members of the House of Lords debated the 50th anniversary of the first Apollo moon landing on 20 July 1969.

This was a short debate, they take place on most days. They allow members to put their experience to good use by discussing topical issues.


The debate was proposed by Lord Mawson (Crossbench), partner of The People’s Moon project with Aldrin Family Foundation, and was responded to by  Lord Henley (Conservative), the parliamentary under-secretary of state, Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.
