Statement on protection of workers after the UK's withdrawal from the EU

Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Greg Clark, gave a statement on the protection of workers after the UK's withdrawal from the EU.
The Business Secretary announced:
"The Prime Minister has given a commitment that Bexit will not be allowed to erode workers' rights […] the Government is today publishing draft clauses for inclusion in the withdrawal agreement and implementation bill to put these commitments into law"
Shadow Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, Rebecca Long Bailey, responded to the Business Secretary and said:
"The proposals as drafted don't yet provide full guarantee nor assurance for UK workers"
