Minister of State for the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, Alistair Burt, is to give a statement on the 2019 Commonwealth Day.

This year's Commonwealth Day marks the 70th anniversary of the London Declaration, which is when nations of the Commonwealth agreed to move forward together as free and equal members.

The statement is expected to commence at around 6pm, following the statement on Syria. Timings are approximate as Parliamentary business is subject to change.

Transcripts of today's proceedings will be available on Hansard three hours after they take place.
