Lord Speaker's lectures: 20 Years of Scottish Devolution: Pass or Fail?

On Wednesday 15 May, Lord McConnell of Glenscorrodale gave the third talk in the Lord Speaker's 2019 Lecture Series, 20 Years of Scottish Devolution: Pass or Fail?

The talk, which was held in the Robing Room in the House of Lords, was attended by over 120 Peers, MPs, staff and external stakeholders.

Lord McConnell, former MP, MSP and first minister of Scotland from 2001 to 2007, spoke about the last 20 years of Scottish devolution, and the role of the Scottish Parliament. Following the talk, Lord McConnell took part in a Q&A session with members and staff of the Lords.
