Following a successful application from Sir Oliver Letwin, MPs are taking part in an emergency debate on European Union (Withdrawal). If the motion is approved the Opposition will table the European Union (Withdrawal) (No. 6) Bill tomorrow in the House of Commons.

This emergency debate follows the Prime Minister's decision to prorogue Parliament for five weeks in the lead up to the Brexit date of 31 October 2019.
