Lords debates strategies for a more sustainable economy

Members of the Lords debated post-Covid-19 recovery strategies contributing to a fairer, cleaner, and more sustainable economy on Thursday 11 June.
Speakers included the chair of the Department for Transport Science Advisory Council and a governor of the London School of Economics.
This was a general debate. During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.
Baroness Hayman (Crossbench), joint chair, Peers for the Planet (cross-party parliamentary group), put forward the debate.
