Lords discusses Covid-19 impact on Hong Kong citizens

Members debate the problems facing the citizens of Hong Kong as a result of Covid-19 and the case for Her Majesty's Government providing support to those affected in the light of the 1984 Sino-British Declaration on Thursday 19 March. Speakers include a former opposition spokesperson for Overseas Development and a patron of human rights organisation Hong Kong Watch.

This is a general debate. During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.
