Lords discusses green economy

Members debate the case for investing in and embracing a green economy, promoting resource efficiency and zero carbon usage on Thursday 11 March. Speakers include a former trustee of the Waste and Resources Action Programme and the former chief executive of the Campaign to Protect Rural England.
This is a general debate. During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.
Baroness Parminter (Liberal Democrat), former chief executive of the Campaign to Protect Rural England, put forward the debate.

- Baroness Jenkin of Kennington (Conservative), former trustee of the Waste and Resources Action Programme
- Earl of Selborne (Non-affiliated), former member of the Royal Commission on Environmental Pollution
- Baroness Sheehan (Liberal Democrat), vice chair of the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Air Pollution.
Lord Callanan (Conservative), parliamentary under secretary of state in the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, responds on behalf of the government.
