This week in the Commons, there was PMQS as well as an urgent question on the refugee crisis at the Turkish-Greek border. There were statements on UK Coronavirus preparations, planning for the future, and support for veterans' mental health.
Prime Minister's Questions
On Wednesday 11 March, MPs questioned the Prime Minister about zero hour contracts, support for farmers and growers in trade deals, the coronavirus and more.

There were two urgent questions on:
- Shadow Health Secretary questions Ministers on UK Coronavirus preparations
- Ministers questioned on the refugee crisis at the Turkish-Greek border
Legislation
- Birmingham Commonwealth Games Bill [HL] 2019-21
The Public Bill Committee will scrutinise the Bill line by line and is expected to report to the House by Tuesday 24 March 2020. - Telecommunications Infrastructure (Leasehold Property) Bill: Remaining Stages
The first reading took place on 11 March. This stage is a formality that signals the start of the Bill's journey through the Lords. Second reading - the general debate on all aspects of the Bill - is yet to be scheduled.
The Budget
Chancellor unveils 2020 Budget
The Chancellor of the Exchequer Rishi Sunak , announced the 2020 Spring Budget. Dame Eleanor Laing the Deputy Chairman of Ways and Means, became the first woman to chair a Budget.
