Lords debates food supply and security

Members of the Lords debated food supply and security in the UK in light of the Covid-19 pandemic, in a virtual session on Thursday 14 May.

Speakers included the director of the Food Foundation and the chair of the Government's Food Security Programme Steering Board.

This was a general debate. During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.

Baroness Boycott (Crossbench), director and trustee of the Food Foundation, put forward the debate.
