Lords discusses permanent housing for homeless people

Members of the House of Lords debated supporting previously homeless people into permanent housing, in a virtual session on Thursday 14 May. Speakers included two former London councillors and chair of The National Housing Federation.

This was a general debate. During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.

Lord Bird (Crossbench), founder of The Big Issue, put forward the debate.
