The Parliamentary Relationship Agreement (PRA), a document setting out the working relationship between the Houses of Parliament the Restoration and Renewal Sponsor Body, has today been published.

The PRA will ensure that both Houses and the independent Sponsor Body have clearly articulated arrangements in place regarding their relationship, roles and responsibilities. This includes how they will work together, and what they should expect of each other across a wide range of important areas.

The PRA was a requirement of the Parliamentary Buildings (Restoration and Renewal) Act 2019. It was developed by a working group that included policy and legal representatives from both Houses and the Restoration and Renewal Programme. The PRA has now been formally approved by the Commissions in both Houses and the Sponsor Body.

The PRA can be read in full here.
