Lords debates Spending Review

On Thursday 3 December, members of the Lords debated the Spending Review 2020.
Speakers included the president of the Confederation of British Industry (CBI) and the director the Official Monetary and Financial Institutions Forum Foundation Ltd.
This was a general debate. It took place in Grand Committee, a room away from the main chamber.
During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.
Lord Agnew of Oulton (Conservative), Treasury Minister, put forward the debate and responded on behalf of the government.
