Lords debates net zero emissions targets

The House of Lords debated the case for integrating policy-making in national and local government to achieve net zero carbon emissions in the United Kingdom, on Wednesday 21 April.
Speakers included a member of the Energy and Climate Intelligence Unit advisory board and the president of Environmental Protection UK.
This was a general debate. During debates, members put their experience to good use to discuss current issues and draw the government's attention to concerns.
The debate took place in Grand Committee, away from the main chamber.
