Kim Leadbeater of the Labour Party was elected the new Member of Parliament for Batley and Spen in the by-election held in that constituency on Thursday 1 July 2021.

Batley and Spen by-election

The by-election was called after the election of former MP Tracy Brabin to Mayor of West Yorkshire.
