What is UK Parliament Week?
UK Parliament Week (UKPW) is an annual festival that engages people from across the UK with their UK Parliament, and empowers them to get involved. Last year almost 1 million people took part in every nation and region of the UK, and countries all over the world.
When you sign up to take part, you’ll receive a free kit that helps you get informed about your UK Parliament, take action and make an impact on the issues you care about.
What’s included in the free kit?
When you sign up to UKPW, we’ll post you a free kit packed with goodies including an activity booklet, a ballot box, some seeds to plant, and more!
You can pick and choose from the options in the booklet to tailor your UKPW activity to suit whatever time you have available and age groups you’re working with.
What sort of activities do people usually run for UKPW?
The UKPW website contains some ideas to get you started with thinking about your UKPW activity, whether you’re organising one for a school, youth group or community group.
