Lords debates government policy on new teachers

The House of Lords debated the government’s policy on Initial Teacher Training, including the recruitment of new teachers and the role of universities and other bodies in ensuring the supply and education of new teachers, on Thursday 18 November.

Baroness Donaghy (Labour), former Assistant Registrar and Students Union Permanent Secretary at the University of London Institute of Education, put forward the debate.
